Autism NI is a parent led partnership organisation formed to promote positive collaboration between parents, professionals and autistic individuals and address the need for appropriate services. Autism NI Lisburn also offer a brilliant parent support group once a month.

Learning disability is a complicated subject, and trying to find the right advice for you can be hard sometimes.
The Special Educational Needs Advice Centre (SENAC) is a regional charity set up in 2003. They provide confidential, independent advice and advocacy on behalf of children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs (SEN) attending schools in Northern Ireland up to the age of 19 years.
The Commissioner has an advice service for children and young people and their families if they feel they are not being treated fairly, or have a complaint about the services they receive, or are meant to receive.
With the start of the school year quickly upon us, Autism NI has created a range of education resources that families can avail of. Resources include a 'Back to School Kit' and a visual board on 'School Anxiety Triggers'. You can download these resources for free!
This resource was created to support people with autism to navigate changes experienced as a result of returning to the new normal post COVID -19 lockdown. ?Also some good resources on managing the return to school.
